Staring from tomorrow KSRTC is introducing a direct bus service from Coorg to Goa.
Vivek Poovaiah of the MOWCE (Movement for the Welfare of the Community and Environment), who works in coordination with KSRTC and who has previously coordinated with the KSRTC in introducing the Madikeri to Mallapuram bus service was quoted in The Hindu that the proposal to introduce a premier bus service to Goa was given by him to the KSRTC Managing Director in March.
Adding that ” the service would benefit students coming to the dental sciences institute in Virajpet as well as business travellers. The service would also aid the growth of tourism in Coorg “.
