The forest department successfully darted and captured the today afternoon the Kedakal Tusker with the help of other tuskers. The tusker had injured a biker and gored and killed forest staffer Girish few days ago.
With the help of cranes the tusker was loaded to a truck and will be released in the forest by the department.
Yesterday evening another person’s vehicle was gored by a tusker. The person incidentally was visiting Aranya Bhavan(Forest Office) for some work when the tusker attacked the vehicle and punched a hole through the left passenger seat . It is not certain if the attacker was Kedakal Tusker or some other tusker.
