According to the report in Star of Mysore, Bangalore police arrested a 24 year old youth for creating a fake profile of a girl on Facebook and for sending her friends and relations obscene images and vulgar messages.
The arrested youth had created a fake profile and sent a friend request to the girl. The girl accepted the friend request not knowing that it was a fake profile. She told the police that though she did not knew the guy, she accepted his friend request due to her desire to have “maximum friends” on Facebook.
The girl even communicated with the youth, who happens to be a mechanic by profession. The interaction soon turned nasty as the youth started to pass lewd advances and obscene images to the girl. Irked by the Mechanic’s Machinations, the girl removed him from her friends lists.
Irked by the removal, the mechanic created another fake profile, this time with the Girl’s image that he had must have accessed from her FB and went on a posting spree of obscene images with the fake profile.
The girl came to know after sometime that her image was being used on a fake profile and filed a complaint with the Madikeri police. The police tracked the guy down and arrested him at Marathahalli.
During interrogation the police found out that the youth has many such fake profiles. The Spanner & Bolts guy is out on bail.
