Coorg Wildlife Society & Forest Dept assist in forest regeneration.

SOMWARPET: The Coorg Wildlife Society members, in association with the students of Field Service Intra-culture Learning, sowed seeds of minor forest produces in Athur Nallur reserve forest.

Coorg Wildlife Society president (Retd) Colonel K Muthanna said that wild animals could were not getting sufficient fodder because of destroying forest.

Hence, the CWS in association with the forest department has planted soap nut, bamboo, honge and other plants, which provide fodder to wild animals, he added. CWS directors Jaffri Muthanna, C C Somaiah, B C Madaiah and others were present.
