Scribes from Kodagu, G. Rajendra of Kannada newspaper Shakthi Daily and H.T Anil have been selected for the Madhyama Academy Awards for 2009-10. Rajendra got the Lifetime Achievement Award and Anil H.T.  for the best Humanity story Award.
