Kodagu receives 11mm rainfall

Farmers who took up to paddy cultivation seem to be in serious trouble as the monsoon seems  to  have failed in the district. How ever, Monday and Tuesday saw a slight improvement in the weather with moderate rainfall. As per the information availed, Kodagu has received an average rainfall of 11.97 mm on Tuesday. So far the rainfall  recorded is 1,456.08 mm. in Madikeri taluk, 26 mm, in Virajpet taluk-3.37 mm and in Somwarpet taluk, it was 6.50 mm.
