Bangalore: Machangada N Poovaiah (68), a senior citizen of Kodagu origin, has been reported to be missing from the city from about 1-30 pm on December 1.
He had met a friend of his at a medical shop near Kaggadasapura and collected an outstanding amount of Rs 1,000. Thereafter a couple of his friends are said to have seen him walking towards Vignan Nagar near SCT College in Kaggadasapura. Since then his whereabouts have not been known.
Efforts were made by his near and dear ones to trace him in and around Kaggadasapura and Vignan Nagar but there was no success.
A complaint has been registered at the Byappanahalli police station in the city. They are making best efforts to search for him. In the meantime, the family has sought the help from the public.

Complexion: Fair
Colour of hair: Grey
At the time of going missing, he wore beige-coloured trousers, and had a sweater of light brown colour with stripes, a woollen cap and shoes on.
