Tata Coffee which has partnered with Strabucks in India, will serve coffee to Starbucks from their 3 crore, 375-tonne-a-year roastery at Kushalnagar in Coorg. Tata will source, roast and supply beans to Starbucks cafes in India, according to a report in The Hindu. Starbucks will supply Tata Coffee with the knowhow and technology for the process.
Hameed Huq, Managing Director of Tata Coffee told The Hindu that they will source and roast the best Arabica coffee beans from Tata Coffee estates for Starbucks as well as other coffee retailers.
