NewIndpress | MADIKERI: The Cauvery Sene has organised a meeting in Upper Kodava Samaja, Madikeri on December 22 to discuss the Jamma bane issues. Cauvery Sene convenor, Ravi Chengappa said that the Sene has written to all the people representatives regarding the issue.
The meeting will be attended by Bar Association presidents also, he added.
Reacting to the BJP delegation’s proposed meeting with the Chief Minister on December 22, Ravi Chengappa said that under democratic set up, anybody can meet the CM. He said it is better that all parties move together for solving the issues plaguing the district.
He added that since BJP is in power, they have an added responsibility to solve the issue. The Cauvery Sene will hold janaspanada meeting at district hospital on the first Friday of January.
The meeting will be held in front of the district hospital from 10 am to 4 pm, he said. The office bearers of Cauvery Sene, Ramesh Thimmaiah, H.Shashi and Jabir Ali were present.
