The serial blasts in Bengalaru which was allegedly master minded by T. Nazir camping at a house in Hossagadhe in Madapur. The disastrous consequences there after is common knowledge. We always react after the event, as such, any amount of Investigative Journalism, is of little help to the powers that be, as in their world, the reaction time is well after the deed is done. I do hope, that under the present pro-active S.P. the loopholes in the system will be plugged. The announcement of a fresh date for release of the Special coffee package is welcome.. The coffee grower, will only benefit if the settlement date of the Package, is immediately after the harvesting period, as funds would be available to take advantage of the scheme.I do hope the members of the Coffee Board will consider the deadline that I have mentioned. The District Administration has done well to ban Plastics in and around our towns but they seem to be turning a blind eye to the wanton dumping of waste from across the border . We have enough waste being left over by uncaring tourists, as such I implore the powers that be to nip this hazard in the bud.
